Short Bio
Lucas Santos de Oliveira is an assistant professor in the Science and Technology Department (DCT) of the State University of Southwestern Bahia (UESB).
He got his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) with a nine months period as a visiting researcher at INRIA Saclay Île-De-France.
He has degree (2008) and Masters (2010) in Computer Science from the Institute of Mathematics and Statistics (IME-USP).
His research interest is mostly focused on knowledge discovery and data mining in complex and distributed systems.
Lucas has published peer-reviewed papers in journals and conferences, such as WWW, ICWSM, ACM TSC and CRIWG.
He collaborates on projects that received support from CNPq, FAPESB, FAPESP, and RNP.
